By accessing and using our services or registering on our platform, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Overview of Services

Joelsa Ltd operates a platform that connects businesses and individuals with talented developers through two primary service models:

  • Project-Based Services: Clients outsource complete projects to Joelsa Ltd. We allocate one or more developers from our internal network, manage the project, and ensure timely delivery. In this model, developers are contracted and paid directly by Joelsa Ltd.
  • Developer Hiring (Headhunting): Clients may also browse and recruit developers directly from our talent base. In this case, Joelsa Ltd acts solely as a headhunter. Once recruited, the developer becomes the employee or contractor of the client, and all terms of engagement are agreed upon between the two parties.

2. Developer Registration and Verification

To ensure quality and credibility:

  • Developers must register on our platform by providing accurate and complete personal details, including name, email address, location, and CV.
  • A non-refundable £5 verification fee is required at the time of registration.
  • Joelsa Ltd reserves the right to accept or reject a developer's application based on internal screening and qualification checks.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide clear and accurate project requirements or job descriptions.
  • Respect the terms of engagement when hiring developers, including fair treatment, clear contracts, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Not attempt to bypass Joelsa Ltd’s platform for the purpose of avoiding fees or direct engagement terms.

4. Developer Responsibilities

Developers agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal and professional information during registration.
  • Maintain professionalism and deliver quality work whether engaged via a Joelsa-managed project or hired directly by a client.
  • Acknowledge that Joelsa Ltd may share their profile, contact information, and CV with potential employers or clients.

5. Fees and Payments

  • Clients engaging Joelsa for project delivery will receive a formal quotation and invoicing.
  • Clients hiring developers directly are not charged by Joelsa Ltd, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Developers pay a one-time verification fee of £5, non-refundable, for account review and visibility to potential employers.

6. Confidentiality & Data Usage

  • Personal data submitted by developers and clients will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Developers consent to having their profiles visible to registered employers/clients once verified.
  • Joelsa Ltd will not sell or misuse personal data.

7. Limitation of Liability

Joelsa Ltd is not responsible for:

  • Issues arising between developers and clients after direct hiring (e.g., payments, contract terms, legal disputes).
  • Any damages or losses resulting from project delays or developer performance beyond Joelsa's direct control.

8. Termination of Accounts

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that:

  • Provides false or misleading information
  • Violates these terms
  • Engages in inappropriate or unethical behavior

9. Changes to Terms

Joelsa Ltd may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform or services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
